Alison McMahan's most recent article, “The Most Famous Woman You’ve Never Heard Of: Alison McMahan on Alice Guy Blaché,” appeared in Artforum, November, 2009, p. 81-82. She has also been published in such journals as Filmmaker, Millimiter, American Cinematographer and The Independent. In addition she has written numerous academic papers on the topics of film history, digital media, and virtual reality.
